Parenting is an immeasurable blessing with an ongoing responsibility. Even after our children have grown and have moved out of the house and have children of their own, our work as parents will continue to impact many generations to come. The Lord reaches to the core of our hearts when he entrusts a child to our care. We find out more about ourselves than we ever would have thought possible – our weaknesses and our strengths! Bring your questions, your struggles, your failures, and your dreams. God will use this eight-session study to show us, as parents, what our role is and to give us the practical application to love our children as Christ would love them. Kevin and Laurie Aker will lead us to God’s Word to see His plan and perspective for us. We will find instruction and encouragement to be the godly parents the Lord intended us to be, according to His Word and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
